| Dear John
I was delighted to win the Links Golf School
competition this year. Having posted the score in April I
was surprised it was not improved upon throughout the remainder
of the year. I have attended Links Golf School annually over
the last four years during which time my handicap has reduced
from a beginner’s handicap of 28 to my current handicap
of 16. On each visit to the Golf School under your tuition
I have learnt something new and re-visited aspects of my swing
which needed improvement incorporating these into my game
has helped me gain confidence in my ability to achieve my
golfing ambitious and enabled me to derive more understanding
and pleasure from my golfing performance. This year my wife
Wendy joined me for the first time at golf school. She too
was surprised and delighted at the progress made during the
tree days and has subsequently reduced her handicap from 29
to 26 this year. We both look forward to seeing you next year.
Regards
John and Wendy Cheetham

| Dear John
Thank you so much for a very enjoyable four
days with you. We have arrived home exhausted but feel we
have learnt a lot. From the readings on my pedometer I walked
27.24 miles – took 59,517 steps and used up 2,587 calories
– no wonder we were tired!! Thanks once again for your
help and advice.

P.S. I thought you would like to know that
yesterday whilst playing at Etchinghill with David I had a
hole in one!

| Hi John
Though I would drop you a line to let you
know how things re going after the 3 day clinic.
I have been working on the turning away drill that you got
me started on during the coaching and it’s been working
fantastically.
I am enjoying my golf now like never before.
Never mind the distance I have gained (I still get surprised
every now and again by the distance I hit my irons) but my
consistency has changed dramatically. Where as before I could
count the good shots on one hand and the bad were never counted,
I hardly ever hit a completely ‘diabolical’ shot
anymore.
I will keep working on the turn and keep you
updated. I am looking forward to returning for some more help
in the near future, I think the short game needs some work
now; in truth I have been neglecting it. There are some corporate
golf days and competitions coming up that I have entered so
I am hoping to get the old handicap down to below 10.
Thank you once again, my confidence has grown and I feel like
a golfer now.
Regards, Grant

| Dear John
At the risk of appearing boastful but because
I enjoy hearing how past pupils progress, thank you for the
last 3 day courses I have been on for the last 3 years at
Easter time.
The first year I had only just bought clubs
6 months before so as a raw beginner went home and managed
to get a 44 handicap during the season.
The second year I went back to win the most
improved handicap (we have between 100 and 200 lady members)
and the Stableford final.
This, the third, I have played for the team
once when they were desperate, won the Lady Captains Day and
the longest drive, it is not so much the winning but the pleasure
of doing well enough to join in everything and make lots of
new friends who need a partner.
Best Wishes and Many Thanks

| Dear John
I would like to thank you very much for your
4 day course, since I completed your tuition I have completed
your tuition I have finished second in the monthly medal and
rarely slice the ball anymore and certainly hit the ball further.
I also now feel when I make a bad shot, I
have a little insight into what I am doing wrong and I’m
able to go back to the basics to get it right.
Thanks

| Dear John
I felt I had to write to say thank you for
your golf school tuition in June. I have just won my clubs
monthly medal with a net 65 and my son has now had his handicap
cut from 19 to 15 since attending your course.
I look forward to attending a school next
year.
Many thanks

| Dear John
I wish to take this opportunity to thank you
for a very enjoyable three days at the North Shore Links and
Elms Golf Centre recently.
I feel that I benefited a great deal from
your expert tuition over this period and thoroughly enjoyed
playing the links course with my fellow student, and of course
Trevor.
Shall I return this year, hopefully with a
number of colleagues to spend another three or four days with
your school.
Regards, Anthony Armstrong

From John O’Groats to Lands End
From Dorking to Southend
We sincerely thank you for the contortions
you have put us through!
We don’t believe any of us will suffer any permanent
physical damage but we all will have gained from your excellent
tuition.
We hope you have enjoyed us as much as we have enjoyed you!

| Dear John
Now that I’ve caught my breath I though
I’d drop you a quick note to say how grateful I am for
another very enjoyable and successful trip. Once
again the feedback from the boys has been tremendous. All
feel they have improved their game and moreover, did so in
a very agreeable fashion.
They were very impressed with the coaching
they received and all relished the challenge of the North
Shore course, even those that were rather shy of it at times.
My colleague John Vincent is in a better position than me
to judge such things and he too feels he and the boys have
come away better players and with increased appetite for the
game.
The whole broader experience has proven to
be a very worthwhile one too. The accommodation and location
and all the non-golfing aspects these addressed were very
good indeed. I hope we gave a good account of ourselves and
that you feel the same sense of achievement and fulfilment
that we do!
Please pass on my gratitude to John as well.
Thank you once again- we’ll be in touch.
Yours sincerely
